We had a great time working (and celebrating) your special day with you!

Our wedding day was a blur. So much time, energy and money went into the planning that it was impossible to take it all in. When the day finally arrived, we just sat back and enjoyed the ride. To this day we still laugh about how crazy things felt leading up to the wedding, and how it all just came together in the end.

As time goes by, the little details get fuzzier and we start to rely more on our wedding day photos to remember them. Many of the images I create for my clients today are a direct result of those fuzzy memories. So you’ll see me taking shots of empty seats and tables before guests arrive for the reception, or laying on the ground focusing on the scattered flower petals left behind after the ceremony. I want to capture the little details which are easily missed (and forgotten), allowing the bride and groom to take it all in over and over again.

Okay, so it’s been a little too chilly of late; but ever since we got that little taste of it a couple of weeks ago I’ve been in Spring mode. It feels nice to have the sun on my side for a change. It greets me in the morning now (no more getting up in the dark!) – and I love getting home with daylight to spare.

It looked so nice out today that I dropped what I was doing and went out with my camera. I drove out to the lake looking to catch Spring in action – okay, so it’s been a little chilly of late…. I can’t wait til summer!
